I thought I saw that either a builder or FFR welded on an additional brace to secure the 2x2 box to the arms for the upper shock mounts. I thought I saved a picture of it but can't find it. Was this a FFR frame mod on the Mk3 or 3.1 or was it from a builder.

Yes. I have seen that. The pictures I saw were on a pre MkIV. The ones the frames with 2 x 2 square tubes.
