I'm installing a 4.6L SVT in my MK IV base kit and the engine mounts don't line up. See photo. Any suggestions?
Most builders installing mod motors use 3/8" aluminum spacers to lift the engine high enough for the oil pan to be above the 4" frame tubes. With my 4 valve engine, the mounts lined up either way. Question, did you order the kit from FF for the mod motor? The mounts are different from a SBF from what I recall.

Don't see any pics. I have a 4.6L SVT in mine, but the modular blocks are all the same. Mine would sit too low and wouldn't line up. I used two 3/8 aluminum spacers, one on each side. These also keep the oil pan from sitting below the 4" tubes. Bill
