Yesterday in the heat(111+) I stopped for a quick drink. Upon trying to start the car it turned over once and died. All electricals failed. Luckly, I have a buss fuse(200 AMP) in the rear of the car and jumped it and the car started and I got it home. I've gone through all the wiring and everything works right up until I hit the starter. Everything goes dead again. I bypassed the buss fuse and the starter clicks, the gear moves out to engage but doesn't turn and also stays out. The starter is a powermaster and is 800 miles old. Voltage is 12+ everywhere tested in the car. Could the starter be bad already??? For the record the engine is a performance high compression engine.
