Anyone know of a good place to get my tires mounted and balanced in the metro boston area?Maybe a place with one of the nice hunter machines? Or should I just head over to the local Sullivan Tire and have them do it?

Wheels are 17x9 ROH Snypers, 275x40 Kumho Victoracers.

Wall's Lincoln-Mercury in Methuen has the new Hunter Roadforce machine. I had my own tires done there and I'm still amazed at what that machine will do. Call them at 978-687-3100, ask for Bryan Wall and tell himm you're building a Cobra. Be sure to mention my name and he'll take good care of you.

Happy motoring

BTW, my last name is pronounced Lee-Oh-nee..

Thanks Joe, yours was the post I was remembering about the Roadforce machine. I'm glad you chimed in. I'll give brian a call this week.

Brendan, there's a place in Plymouth along the waterfront that I use. It's next to Corvette Mike's and they mount and balance all their wheels and tires so I thought it was a good gamble they'd know how to mount wide wheels. If interested, e-mail and I'll look up the name/number for you. He's a drag racer so the love for cobras is definetly there. They did my spec car for me. Bob

Brendan, Sullivan Tire, across from the Hanover Mall, ask for Marty. He mounted the tires on my Trigo pin drives... not a scratch. He & I have been involved in racing for thirty years.

I went to a local NTB for mounting and alignment... they did a great job and were really careful.
