Several people have taken theirs to DTS on Groesbeck Highway in Warren. I originally took mine there to get chopped (around $120), but ended up buying a new one from them instead. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, but they do good work and they have experience with FFR's. Good luck.

I wouldn't go to DTS I have tried to have driveshafts cut there twice and they always seem to have some problem. When I did my roadster they said they couldn't shorten my DS due to the rubber dampner. I ended up doing it myself.

Dave,
I used Ann Arbor driveshaft in Ypsi. If you want I can look for the number.

Dave, Sorry it took me so long to respond. I got mine done at B&L Truck Equipment 13996 Nine Mile Rd. Warren Mi 48089 586-777-5910. As I remember it was $35, and only took an hour or so. Four years on the car and no problems...with the driveshaft that is. Mike

Thanks guys,

I went to Ann Arbor driveshaft (Thanks Todd). I have it back ready for installation. Appears to be good job for $111 (with new u-joints and balancing); time: 4 working days. I'm satisfied.

Dave,
No problem, but you got a better deal than I did. I had to pay $120. Remember if you need a hand call.
