Simple, should I stick with FFR's manual or go with one a bit shorter? And why.

I ended up a little shorter. Why, because the guy that cut and balanced it measured everything up and said that's the size that he would put in there (I'll have to check what the number was, but I recall it being about 0.75" less than the FFR recommendation).

Bill, Duane and I all used what it said in the FFR manual with no problems.

The shop that did mine had done several others. All the same all per FFR manual. My IRS works fine at the FFR recommended length.
