Some time back I contacted the owner of Total Performance and he said that he was not interested at building an E-Brake unit for the 8.8 Ford rear-end. I have not been in touch with him for about four months. Maybe some interest from another party might get him to work on the project!! As you can see from his website he really is in the business!!

I have a 9 inch rear end and considered using the Total Performance brake plate and disk that mounts to the pinion yoke...forget that the disk mounted on the rear end yoke does not fit the tunnel (too close for comfort) , sold it to a street rod guy , use the lokar cable setup , its idiot proof.

I think Gordon Levy has a different option. If I remember correctly, it's a hydrolic fitting that you put between your master cylinder & rear brake line. When you want to engage the e-brake, you press your brake pedal and turn the dial on the fitting. That keep pressure on the rear brake lines when you take your foot off the pedal.

I don't have my e-brake working and have been thinking about using that setup.
