I have the opportunity to purchase a donor pallet from Cypress. Mike's going to supply the following: 85k eng out of the 93, trans, bellhousing and flywheel assem out of the 94 cobra 5.0 [82k]

My questions are:

1. will I have any issues, such as vibration, with the 93 engine and the 94 flywheel and tranny?

2. Is the gearing of the Cobra T5 the same as the gearing of the stock Mustang T5? Will it work OK with the 3.27 T-Bird rear end? (going IRS)

3. Should I take this, or wait for a complete assembly from ONE donor?

4. Why would I want 94-95 spindles instead of the 93 spindles?

Thanks for your help! BTW, this is intended to be a relatively mild street build - probably no track or strip at all. Comfort is more important than power.

All the best,

Everything should be OK. With the SN95 spindles you will have the 5 lug conversion and you can run the larger brakes. Since you have the t bird IRS you will have 5 lug front & rear.

Thanks. He's giving me new Lincoln front rotors, so the 5-lug issue is covered, if that's the only reason for the 94-95 spindles.
