OK guys, I'm stumped on this one. Using the MC from a '93 GT. Got the 3/16 Napa brake lines, and the fronts went in fine - althought I did need a 3/16 to 1/4 adapter to screw into the each of the front brakes by the F-panel. BTW, I'm not using the prop valve.

Problem #1 - The MC hole for the rear line (very front of MC) is larger than 1/4", but smaller than 5/16" ! I'm dumbfounded. What the heck size is that hole?!

Problem #2 - Napa didn't have an answer for problem #1, so they directly me to Mustang performace shop in town. He told me the inverted flare ends on the Napa lines would leak - and that I need the "bubble" flare for the MC end. He's confident that this is the case, but I've never heard anything about this on the forum here. Is this true?

I want to solve this today, please help

Thanks,
Jeff

In my '89 Mustang Shop Manual it says that "all the tube end connections at the master cylinder are ISO (bubble) flare with metric tube nuts". And "all tube ends not at the master cylinder are double flare with English nuts".
