Looking at the gauge pod it looks like the fuel & oil pressure gauges share the same ign & grnd circuits and on the other side the voltmeter and temp gauges do the same. When wiring up these gauges instead of running the individual ign & grnd wires to each gauge can you save on the extra wires by having these gauges just share one ign & grnd source and install some jumpers at the gauges to provide a ign & grnd? Or does each gauge need it's own seperate ign & grnd wire? It looks like it would save about four wires.

Thanks,

Glenn

All of my gauges, except the tach, share the ignition and ground. Someone told me to run a separate ground for the tach.

Every donor gauge indeed has an ign and a gnd and you can wire them all to a single point. If you have other stuff....like backlighting for gauges etc, you might want to consider running a separate gnd wire for the voltmeter neg side, to improve accuracy. Running larger wires would also help reduce errors.
