Does the compact heater ('ala TriState, others)work with a donor gauge setup? I was thumbing through the manual - I normally try to keep this to a minimum 'cause it depresses me
- and noticed that the gauge electronics mount where the heater would be. Is there enough wiring to move it somewhere else?

Thanks.

No problem. I have tri-states heater mounted tight (right side) to the verticle center post of the dash hoop. I also have the donor gauges (no pod). You can see the dash on "ffr excellent results" posted a couple of pages down!

If you get creative with the placement front to back, you can even keep enough room for a glove box.

I have to tristates compact heater, mounted to the right of the hoop support and have the Automoter gauges. No problems, lots of room.

I cut out the hoop support to allow the tristate heater to be more centered. the support was recently added and I assumed just to improve manufacturing tolerance. Works fine.
