Most of the donors I'm seeing seem to have high miles (100-150k), I wonder how often does the front suspension need to be totally rebuilt ? I would assume you would not want to just bolt it in with out rebuilding it to save yourself some possible trouble later? It doesn't seem like it'd be that much more to just purchase new ford parts.
Any thoughts? Am I way off base?

The only front suspension parts you'll use are the steering rack and tie rod ends and lower A arms. There's a raging depate on donor vs. Flaming River rack. Go Flaming River if you can afford it or plan on a retrofit later. Tie rod ends are cheap and you frequently damage the boot when you pull them off the car. Go bump steer if you can afford it. A arms from FFR are expensive. Go stock if you can and if your just going to drive the car on the street. Replace the bushings.
