Great morning as Reliable dropped off a package from Jeff Miller. Looking forward finishing it out.

Well, the car WAS gone for 2 and a half months, so I didn't have a whole lot else to do after work 😄. Seriously, though, the shop was a wreck when we loaded it to take to California from the final thrash to get it finished.

Be sure to shim the windshield posts in final assembly. Any gaps between the windshield posts and frame must be filled or the stress of pulling them in to the frame will, eventually, crack the windshield. Ask me how I know!

I used the SS shims from McMaster Carr. https://www.mcmaster.com/shims

I measured my gaps using a feeler gauge and then bought shims that I could stack up to desired thicknesses. A little gasket maker between shims holds them together.

Beautiful car, your color choice was what I originally planned to do, but went dark red instead.
