I'm installing a FRPP EFI harness. The instruction book says to hook certain wires to a 12-volt crank only source, a run only source, or a crank and run source.

I think I've got two of the three figured out -
Crank-only source: Ignition switch "start" pole
Run-only source: Ignition switch "accessory" pole

What/where is a "crank & run" source?

Thanks,
Pete

Pete, it sounds like you are using an aftermarket ignition switch. If so, the "ign" or "run" terminal should have power in both the start and run positions.
You are correct that the start terminal on the ignition switch is a "crank only" source. However, depending on where the wire is located that requires "crank only" power, it may be more convenient to splice into the small wire going to the starter relay, since that wire is a crank only source also.
I'm not sure if the "accessory" terminal of the ignition switch is powered only in the run position. You'll need to check with an Ohm meter to see if there is continuity between the battery terminal and accessory terminal only when the switch is in run.
