Since the forum has allowed a scratch forum I thought I would update my progress here....

Thank you FFR Cars.........

Car I will replicate CSX2375, a car currently owned by Fran Kress and in comp form. Originally 2375 was wrecked and rebuilt with another car CSX2378. I fell for 2375 when I saw it in its comp form and figured why not, after its full rebuild I will be almost as close in detail as the original now is :).

CSX2375 today:

My car:
Frame is a 289 transverse leaf frame
Hubs 6-pin via SAI, Brakes = New SAI (PBR) versus original Girling for safety
Engine 1964.5 289 transfering its power to T10 4spd
Body hand laid woven using ally hood, doors and boot......
Wheels FIA as today the kidney beans on 2375 are gone in place are FIA's

Now for pics......

Awesome!! Did you make the frame yourself? And where did you get the headers? Finally, did you know you can get pin drive Kidney bean wheels from PSE?

Thanks

Bill

Yes I know PSE has kidney beans however 2375 since the picture has switched to FIA's thus I have FIA's. Aluminum as magnesium are a bit pricey.

Bill sent you a PM for help on AH Spares.....

Thanks

Got it. Sent a reply. Hope it helps.

I'm going to follow this build very closely!!

I, too, will be using 48IDA Webers. Have you seen this from Jim Inglese?

I plan on going with this and the Webers. Have to stay true to being as original as my wallet can afford
