Will a water pump for a 90 or 91 Crown Vic work or be a CW/Rotation?

The WP most have been using for a Reverse WP (compared to the mustang rotation) is an 84 crown vic.

The hole spacing on these WPs are different and the Offset is different.

Just so everyone is using the same terms, the WP on a 5.0 is a reverse rotation WP technically. The Crown Vic WP is actually a normal rotation pump as far as the standard cooling system design goes.

Wouldn't it all be simpler is we used the terms Clockwise and Counterclockwise... Just an opinion....

I was speaking of the Hole spacings in the Water pump PULLEY being different. The WP to block holes are the same.

Ok had two water pumps side by side today. One was a brand new 91 model and the other was a remanufactured 84 model both for Crown Vic's the only differance being the reman,84 had a slightly larger mounting surface for the pulley but the holes were the same. The mounting holes are the same as well. FYI

BUT that hole spacing is different from the Mustang. So different pully is required.

Roger that Earl got my pulley today from Mach and it's for the Crown Vic, now all I should need is a MUSTANG backing plate.
