Well, I ended of taking it off anyway. The FMS cable that came with it (M-7553-A392) is about 3/4" too short with the Ram clutch I'm running - even with the firewall adjuster stopped all the way down. The other Ford cable that came with quadrant and firewall adjuster, is adjustable on the clutch end, and has a different fitting that matches the stock fork better. So I went back to the other cable... Don't know what's up with that...
