I have a Mark 4 Roadster with rear Wilwood disc brakes and the 8.8” solid axle. It’s a complete kit using the FFR e-brake handle. What are the correct rear brake cables? I have part number U95240 cables but then have very little cable length beyond the jacket and will not reach from rear cable mount to e-brake handle. Am I missing something or do I have the wrong cables? Thanks in advance for any input.

You should have another cable that looks similar to the one in the attached picture. It goes between the handle and the cables to the brakes. The one in the picture is a screenshot of a 93 Mustang cable. May not be exactly the same as the FFR supplied one.

The Factory Five parking brake handle does not use —-and is not designed to use—- that Mustang equalizer “T” cable.

Does anyone know what is the correct cable number to use with the FFR e-brake handle? My cables are not much longer than the cable jacket which appears incorrect. I am guessing these are for when using the mustang donor e-brake handle.
Thanks

Sorry for the bad information and thanks Jeff for correcting me. Learn something every day.
My frame had a front set of cable holes closer to the handle and maybe you are supposed to use them if they are still there on the new frames.

There is a front set of holes but they are very high compared to the connection point of the FFR brake handle. From what I read, those are for the mustang donor handle. For the FFR handle I believe I am to use the two holes further back but that requires a cable with a long end past the jacketing. I need the number for the correct cables.
Thanks all.

I’ve had to cut the cables and jacket to length for every car that I‘ve built. I’m not aware of an off the shelf cable but that’s not to say that there may not be one.

I always recommend the Lokar parking brake cables. Plenty of length (cut to desired length for cable and housing) and uses a universal mounting block for the cable ends. They offer adapters for various calipers as well.
