I have the Ford Probe signal light switch, but I need the connector/pigtail for 89 to 92 Probe to connect to my wiring harness. Let me know if you have the connector/pigtail.

I also need the flasher box and connector from an '94-'96 Ford Escort or '94-'96 Mercury Tracer.

Thanks.

Those connectors on that link, can't be correct:confused1: Perhaps that is for a different year that had the t/sig switch on the steering column?

Russ, the Probe relay also handles the hazard lights, (as well as t/signals) so I don't think a regular t/sig flasher relay would work. Or did you simply mean that you can buy an aftermarket Probe replacement relay, rather than the Ford OEM one??

DV/DT (Rod) found a better relay that works, I believe it was from a Escort, that had the advantage over the Probe set up in that it was a stand alone unit, and rather than plugging into a box, it uses the Escort wire connector. Simple to splice into your harness..

Threads worth reading through re this..

The flasher is the same from either the Probe or the Escort - only the connectors are different. In the Probe the flasher plugged right into the fuse box but the Escort has a separate connector which can be harvested for use in the FFR.

Also, you need components from the 1st generation of Probes. I think '89 -'92.

Great info. I have been through both posts. Modified my ad to put in the years for the Escort or Tracer flasher box.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help. I am getting closer to understanding all that I need to make this work.
