Well I've been getting getting by with a old lap top that finally died over the weekend, looks like I get to go buy a new one. This of coarse means I lost all my e mail stuff and information including contact info on some folks waiting for some parts.

It is about time My offer is still open if you are interested in buying an IBM. I work for IBM and can get OK deals. You can order through the website on your own. Send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you the info if you're interested. Definitely helps if you shop around. Try Dell, Gateway, Micron (among others) and if you really have to, check Apple. If any other of my "Roadster" brethren are interested, send me an email. IBM does not always have the lowest prices but they often have specials that can't be touched by others.

I'll throw in my support for IBM as well. I have a thinkpad and my wife has an HP the office gave her. I'll bet you can guess which laptop has stood the test of time.

Get an Apple. MacOS X is the sweetest OS ever. I've used all the flavors of Windows, MacOS, UNIX & Linux over the years and this is hands down the best. iBooks are nice little machines...

I have a brand new Compaq desktop that was given to me by one of the vendors that I use. I buy computers in bulk, so they sent me a new one to "check out". It is a Pentium4 1.7ghz, 20 gig hard drive, ethernet, audio, AGP video, 256mb of RAM. It is brand new, still in the box, never been opened. It is not a laptop, but is pretty small in size. If you are interested, let me know. The only thing I ask for in return is a ride in the coupe once your done with it.
