I blew the second from the back on the driver side. Pulled the plug and coolant flowed out.

I did a compression test and all the pistons look the same at 115PSI - except for the one full of coolant at 135lbs. Lube on the rings increased compression I suppose.

Merry Christmas Glen - time to buy heads.

My tuner says its got to be Trick Flow Twisted Wedge. My pocket book says $999 GT40X at buyfordracing.com and a local Mustang Shop says Edelbrock Performer 5.0 with 1.7 roller rockers on stock cam for the supercharger.

What do you say?

The low compression you were getting is likely due to the valves faces or seats being worn and loosing compression. Unless the engine was abused or had 200 K miles on it, the rings are not probably the problem.

The Mustang shop has the right idea.
