This is a case of "I shouda when I had the chance"
A couple of years ago I saw a Book called
DAYTONA COBRA COUPES subtitled.Carroll Shelbys
1965 World champions. Of course now I cant find
it any where I have checked AMAZON,motorbooks,
EBAY,Im still looking but I thought maybe my
fellow Cobra guys might help, Thats if you guys
can even read! If anyone can help that would
be great Thanks

I've seen it on ebay a couple of times, but it always goes for $300+ so I haven't bought it. Just keep watching ebay.

Yeah thanks guys,I did find two copys but they
where 400.00$ and 700.00$,Yes 700 they must have
printed a very limited # I faxed the publisher
for info maybe thay can tell me if they are going
to reprint soon,well file this under DOH!!

Dave, I bought mine off ebay, just out right bought it for (ouch!) $275 but it's a GREAT book.

Someone mentioned a pirate issue from Tiwan that a friend bought for $20 but he never did get back about getting a few more.

Curt Scott has signed copies(the whole team) for about $480

Man, it's just a car book! What are they thinking! Before long, Shelby will release another batch that was "found" in the back of the barn. Oh yeah, they won't be worth as much because they'll be the 4000 model.

When you think about Bill,Its not really that bad
Golfers pay that and more for 1 club,I collect
Winchesters and $400.00 is nothing. how about 5000
for stack inj?? I would pay that in a New York
min. if I had it! You can get a copy that is signed by ole Shelby and all the drivers and crew 44 signatures in all with the book # engraved on
a Cobra chassis tag thats on the dust cover for
$400.00 from George Stauffer the publisher
Im told that this is THEE book on the Daytona
we pay all kinds of money on crazy and zany toys
its the american way!!!!!Now I have to go play
