I was scared to death of the colour on Friday but now that is Monday, I absolutely love this colour and the guys at the paint shop said it was a one of a kind. It was a spin off of the Corvette Millenium Yellow with a Metallic pearl- 3 stage, black stripes to follow!

Will update...

Damn, I've been seriously thinkin about a yellow cobra lately. I don't know if Brooklin is big enough for 2 yellow cobras. Hahaha. Can't wait to see it finished. Let me know when you are around town!

With fear and trepidation I went yellow with black stripes. I orignally wanted white with blue stripes but lots of people talked me out of it. I've never looked back. Lemme tell ya', the yellow/black stripe combo attracts people like bugs to a light. At shows, they'll walk right past other cars to see mine. I now love the color combo and have never looked back and said "if only I'd gone with..."

If your looking for yellow I found out today when looking for paint for my boys 65 Mustang that it is now one of the most expensive soild base coats available today. Most of my first choices were the most expensive PPG cost code at $378/gal wholesale . But my paint supplier found that for some reason the PPG DBU 83431 (viper bright yellow) is what is called a "no code" and I bought it at $148/gal. It is a nice yellow and with a gallon of clear, 2 quarts of hardener, and 2 gallons of reducer I came out of there at less than $350 for everything

Thanks guys,

I'm grinning ear to ear, I just love this colour and it doesn't even have the black stripes.

Cheers Ray

P.S I will get more shots when done unless they throw me out of the paint shop, I am excited and they must get sick of seeing me.
