Where is the cheapest place to get the Flaming River rack in the 18 to 1 ratio, Also should i do the bump steer now too, is it worth it?

If you want to save some money buy a 1979 Mustang manual rack and a joint. I had a Flaming river in my last car and it only made my wallet a couple of hundred lighter.

Try Monster Motors, I just bought 2 15:1 racks for less than you were quoted for a cheaper rack. Do the bump steer!

Besides removing your wallet weight, if you want precise bump steer location , on the SN22** chassis forward, you will need to remove approximately 1/4 to 3/8" off the back of the bosses of the FR to move it back for the correct geometry, then shim to get it perfect with offset bushings. This has been covered in the past by a lot of racers that want it right, not just the tag appearance.

Does this mean that I should, at the very least, take the two back washers out and move them to the front?
