FWIW, I just learned, the hard way, you gotta mount your EFI fuel pump relay so it'll shed water instead of catching it. I zip-tied mine to a frame rail under the hood until the body's off for painting (when I intend to tidy up all the wiring and plumbing there). BUT, I mounted it "upside down"; it acted like a little bucket. SOooo, it held all the rain I encountered in a massive thunderstorm from hell last Wednesday night near Tampa. I let the car sit two days while I attended a conference there, then got home and next day the car wouldn't start. The fuel pump wasn't getting juice. Tonight Richard Bailey and Doug Huey helped me find out the water rotted out my fuel pump relay. You should see how much it corroded in such a short time. Moral: mount electrical components to shed water, not stop it or catch it, if exposed to a wet environment.
