I'm done building a 302 forged pistons, E-303 cam stock heads but i could be changing them to gt40 heads later, edelbrock performer manifold.
just need a little advice on a carb, i was looking at the holley or the edelbrock, i have to stick to a tight budget but will spend a little more if needed.

thanks ken

Your most common carb to use are the Holly #1850/ 600 CFM. VAC SEC. or the Carter AFB/Edelbrock 600 CFM. They will work very good on your 302CID right out of the box. You can alway buy the High Dollar and they might work. Just get a ELECT. choke one if you live were it might get cold.

You might want to look at the Holley Avenger Series 570 CFM. My understanding is that it is good right out of the box.
