Just installed the breeze offset aluminum bushings the other day and was thinking Should the bushing end flat against the the rear of the steering rack..or should it be a little short in order to keep the rack from moving front to back.. Also I had to torque the steering rack a bit to get the bolt through the back hole..Is this going to be a problem..Thank you

Hello Tony J.. The bushing and the rack fit tight in the mounting ears..But the rear of the bushing doesn't come out flat against the rear of the rack..So the frame mounting ears are against the back of the rack..The mounting ears touch the bushing in the front and the steering rack in the rear..

In other words the bushing doesn't go all the way through the steering rack..Close maybe the thickness of a piece of paper short..The ears are not bending as they are clamping against the rack tight had to spread just to get the rack in..Do you still think I need to replace them ..
Thank you

AS FAR AS GETTING THE BOLT IN ROUND OUT THE HOLES ON THE REAR I HAD THAT PROBLEM AND DIDNT WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE WITH STRESSING THE RACK

The bushing is supposed to be short of the rack. You are mounting the rack and not the bushing. The rack has to be all the way back and against the frame or it would rattle. Cheers Richard.
