That's a tough section to take a pic of once it's installed, so I will try to describe it.
The end of the push rod is a ring and that slides over a stud on the pedal arm. That whole system is held in place with a pin. There is also the brake light switch which straddles the push rod and the whole shooting match slides over the stud.
This is real tricky to describe in words. Tried to take a pic for you but the switch is pretty well hidden.
The brake switch assembly is made up of the following:
1) pedal with knob
2) black plastic "bumper guard"
3) brake switch
4) white washer
5) red cotter pin
and of course the push rod with its eye hole for the pedal's knob.
The push rod, black plastic bumper and swtich slide on as a unit. The switch plug faces the driver, allowing the open ended "hole" to be against the pedal (I think). After these pieces are on the white washer goes on last and all is fastened with the red cotter pin.
Hope I got this right. Please chime in to correct anything.
