After trying a tubing bender on the brake lines and becoming frustrated, I just started bending the lines by hand, using various size sockets to bend around. Worked great!

The cheapest one you can find.

I used a $6 bender and it was fine. I also used a piece of pipe and bent around it for my pigtails at connections. By-hand works too as Bob said. At the Mott Build School, I hear they put a socket in a vice and use that to wrap the tubing around.

The pre-flared tubing from any auto parts store is so cheap that if you ruin a piece you can throw it away and get another one. Its only about $3 for a 3-foot length, pre-flared with fittings.

Long neck beer bottle use the top part works great. And most refreshing.

Cheers
