Can anyone give me some pointer on how to remove the pushrod from the brake booster? I'm going to the GN style MC and want to use the stock push rod.

Thanks,
Ben

This may sound crazy but it works. The booster is bakelite plastic and has tiny air bubbles trapped in it. I heated mine with a propane torch. The air expands and shatters the booster. You may have to pursuade it with a hammer after it's hot but it'll break up real easy. Just wear safety glasses if you use this method.

I used the stock Buick pushrod. Worked great, but you have to make a new pivot, which is not as hard as it sounds. I did not want to attempt to remove the Buick pushrod in case there was a warranty problem later on.
