My question is how do you guys center the body over the frame, particularly the3/4 sq. tube down the sides of the hood. I can stick my fingers in between the the body and tube on driver side yet on the passenger side the recessed hood lip sits right on the #/4 tube. Do I reef the front rad supports over to the drivers side with a come-a-long because the four bolts were the frame mates with the body seems to restrict the side movement were the quick-jacks are?

It is only about an inch1/2 off but I'm putting stripes on so the better the aglinment the happier I'll be.

The hood opening does not meet the frame equally on each side. Match the front bump jack holes, then go from there. I know it looks funny, but that's how it is made to fit. Take a tape measure from your wheels up to the fender well, that will give you a better idea of how to move the body.
