I have a sweet-running 306 in my MK2 roadster track car. In order to keep things that way I want to switch out the oem balancer with an SFI rated piece. My limiter is set at 6300 rpm, the shift light comes on at 5800 rpm.

I'm looking for personal experiences with aftermarket balancers.
Thanks

ATI is the best. Not cheap, but the best. I'm not sure you need that good a damper at 6,300 RPM though.

Spend the money on quality parts .... machine shop didn't think I needed a good one either .... it may not be the casue of my latest boat anchor (347 stroker), but it sure would be nice to have it eliminated as one of the variables .... if it was the cause it would have been $$ we spent considering the parts I may be able salvage the heads and bare heads at that !!!
