Where do you mount the battery box. There are no pictures and very little instruction in the manual.

If anyone has pictures, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 3-link rear and had to move the bat.
I simply moved the bat.about about 10-12 inches toward the drivers side in the same location as the original plan. in fact I think I used the drivers side bat. mting. holes and drilled two new ones toward the drivers side. It's been awhile since I did it but it fits with the three link. Then I cut a access hole wityh a door in the trunk al. above the bat. and presto no need for the box

Dave,

Many people mount their battery using a hidden battery box made by FFMetal.com, a forum vendor. Here is their site:

http://www.ffmetal.com/

This frees up some room in the trunk.

Others use a battery hold down, such as this:

Very few people us the FFR black battery box, but if you use it just screw it down on one side of the trunk or the other.

HTH,

Take care.

Use the FFmetal box. A quality addition to the project.

I have the FFMetal's box and it is one of the better accessories that I picked up:

As you can see, it leaves plenty of room for all my toys! :D HTH,
