Just to be sure before I start soldering...
A 510 ohm 1/2 watt resistor gets soldered between the LG/R wire (#904) from the alternator and the heavier gage R/LG (#16) wire from the "RUN" position on the ignition. Correct? This will allow the alternator to be "tickled" as someone put it and then can charge the battery. I will not be using any indicator lights inline with this resistor. Will this be an issue?
