I just bought this nice liquid-filled fuel PSI gaueg from Jegs...didn't come with instruction (probably shouldn't, it is supposed to be a direct bolt on)my concern is, it has a centerback located NPT 1/8 male fitting and at the end of the fitting, there is a hole with a screw in it, is that screw supposed to come out before installation? If not, how is pressure read? I thought maybe the screw is spring loaded and PSI is read as fuel pressure pushes it up but screw is not spring loaded. Called Jegs, they have no clue.
Yeah, yeah, put it on, run the fuel pump and see...but I would rather only do this once.

Thanks guys.

No, it's a restictor so the gauge doesn't get shocked form a burst of pressure and damage the tube inside. Teflon paste and screw it in.
