I tried installing the brake hose that came with my CNC reservoirs onto the npt fittings. I can get them on about 3/4 ways and that's it. I tried heating the hose in hot water, but didn't notice a difference. My thumb and fingers were sore from fighting just one hose and it's not fully seated.
Can I apply any chemicals to make it slide better? (brake fluid? soapy water?)

I'll try the brake fluid first, if that doesn't work I'll try the Sil-Glyde.
