Has anybody had chrome plating done in these states? How much and how are they holding up? Any pics?

Dont know for sure but I have been told one of the best places around is in Nashville, TN. I think they are called Advanced Plating or something like that. Chrome platers are hard to find now days. Supposedly the EPA has gotten really strict and it is hard to make any money in it. The old companies may have gotten grandfathered in or something and that is why they are still in business.

Old chrome platers did not get grandfathered in. They all have to follow the EPA and OSHA regs. Some platers spent the money to install the proper treatment equipment for liquid waste and venting requirements. Most just closed their doors, or switched to bright nickel plating. Nickel requires treatment for liquid waste, but does not require special venting.
