the outer side wall of the driver side footbox, does it go behind the body mount bracket? Mine does not fit behind in it's present state seems it'll need some trimming as it covers half of the mount. from different pictures it appears to go behind, just want to check before I cut.Thanks

I'm not sure what is "correct". I worked mine in behind the body mount and plan to drill through and put the bolt inside the footbox. I think it will be easier to seal than a fit around the mount

You can either trim it like I did or cover the mount with it and drill for the hole.

Drill it for the hole.. It is lots less work and you will never know the difference if in fact there is one to beging with....
