Using manual brakes and Whitby's adjustable pushrod (and a Levy master cylinder....go go Levy products =) ), will I want to use any spacers for the master cylinder?

Right now I've got the pushrod at its smallest possible setting (i.e., the shortest it can become), no spacers, and everything seems to be fitting nicely. I'm 5'7 so I don't think I need any spacers, but I can't figure out why most people usually install at least 1 (atleast from my readings on here)?

You need the spacers when using the stock push rod. Since the stock pushrod is not adjustable, you need to have some way change pedal height for differant people.

I didn't use any spacers with my home made adjustable pushrod.
