I have a donor build with a 1991 5.0 with a BBK 65mm throttle body. When I start driving, the accelerator is very responsive at my foot. After about 10-15 minutes, the accelerator seems to stick and is alot less responsive and tight. There is also a whistling noise when I accelerate hard. The problem is not in the linkage, and I believe it might be in the throttle body baffle sticking when heated up, or extreme pressure on the engine side of the throttle body baffle. Has any one had or heard of this problem and what can I do?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave H
