This one should be easy. I think I know the answer but I was just wondering what the correct answer is. Were the originals considered imports or domestics?

As I understand it, AC Cobras would have been imports. Getting technical, cars sold as "AC" Cobra's were built in England and have badges saying "AC" on the trunk. Cobras sold here in the states were call "Shelby" Cobra's and had Shelby badges.
CSX cars were sold here, COX cars were British for export and COB cars were sold with in England. "S" stands for Shelby, "X" was for export and "B" was for Britain.
Shelby American was the importer/distributor for AC cars in the U.S., so I would say they were imports.
