I spent the better part of today with Bob Hanlon of Hanlon Motorsports. He specializes in sales and service of T5's and Tremecs. Hanlon also has that ultra sweet mid-shift conversion for the Tremec 3550. His conversion INCLUDES a PRO 5.0 shifter. I brought my 3550 over to him to install the mid-shift kit. He installed it as we talked. The 2 hour drive was worth it. Bob is a real nice guy and has an immaculate and very organized shop. I can reccomend Bob highly for anyone that is looking for a Tremec. If you buy a 3550 and a mid-shift kit at the same time, he won't charge any extra for labor to install the kit. www.hanlonmotorsports.com

I'm interested in your experience with this Pro 5.0 mid-shifter for the Tremec that Hanlon sells. Reason is I was thinking of getting it until Mike Forte related to me that some of his customers had complained about it leaking oil. I opted to use the default Tremec mid shifter instead, and wait to see if an alternative would show up.

Just to support Olli's experience with Bob Hanlon. I had Bob rebuild the T5 for my FFR. Super guy, very knowledgable, and won't sell you something that you don't need. A great resource for anything T5 or Tremec related.

Bob also developes upgrades and other tweeks for the Tremec, did he show you his "dog" box (clutchless) race conversion that he uses in his race Mustang? Very slick.

Bob's an incredibly busy guy but would be a great resource to have on the forum if we could talk him into it.
