Just wanted to post a few pics of what I did to get past the long spindles with the newer five lug rims. Basicly I took a hacksaw and cut the spindle off were the threads start and then took a #7 drill bit drilled and taped a quarter twenty threaded hole, and then put a set screw in to hole to hold the nut inplace. To make any future adjusments I will use some thin shim stock made out of brass for a spacer if needed. I also had to grind down the dust cap on the one side because it doesnt recess in the spindle enough, about half the crown to the ridge that goes inside then flatten with a ruber mallet. The end product fit perfect and I feel safe with this mod myself. Hope this help anyone else looking to fit the newer five lug wheels.
