After having the car painted and complete for one week the engine developed a bad misfire problem. I replace the ignition module on the distributor and that did not solve the problem. I don't have a diagnostic port on the car so I can't pull the codes. But I do have a donor for a second Cobra that runs great. So I was going to swap some parts between the cars and see if I could track down the problem. My last resort will be to swap the entire distributor, but my donor is a 1990 mass air and the Cobra is a 1988 speed density.

Are the distributors compatible?
