Does the same joint that fits the flaming river rack fit the 79 rack? I assume the difference is the size of the input shaft to the rack itself.

I know the flaming river rack has a different sized shaft and was just wondering if the same joint for it fit the 79 rack..

I have a 1980 manuel rack and used the FR shaft to bolt to it instead of rewelding a new u-joint to the stock rag joint setup. The FR shaft has the same spine count as the stock manuel ford rack and will bolt right on. Chris

As long as you get the FR joint for a manual rack. There is a differance between a power and a manual rack!
