Finally, after some frustrating wiring isues, FFR5437 is alive. Engine and trans went in last week, but wiring issues prevented a start. Today, after corectly hooking up all starter/solenoid/ignition wires the engine still would not fire. Problem was traced to a faulty ignition switch which accidentaly grounded two of the posts and fried the ignition switch. Luckily FFR acidentially sent two switches so after using the second switch, INSTANT FIRE! Wooooooooooooooooo. What a rush. 302/350 HP. Now I know the feeling you all have been expressing on this forum. The thing is a beast. Fire, noise, smell and smoke. What a rush. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
