Can anyone tell me the length of the axel for an 8.8
rear end. approximate is good. I have two axels in stock and I don't know which one to keep.

The 93 and earlier mustangs used 29-5/32" length axles (per side) and the 94+ (sn95) are 0.75" longer (each side). Either will work in the 8.8 housing the newer axles just stick out farther meaning less dish for your rims. Either will work.

You'll also need the shorter "fox" width axle if wanting 315's out back. Longer axles were used in later model rears so to have room for sensor ring. both housings are same with, only axle width changed
