Hi Duper,
Reringing a 302 Ford is easy with experience. Without it's a bit more challenging. All of the specialty tools I have or would need to buy would be expensive. Having a machine shop recondition it would cost more than a new shortblock (pistons, rings, bearings, boring, tanking, cam bearing install, freeze plugs, recondition rods & new bolts, press on new pistons, balancing etc) not to mention the wait time. If you're looking to build a stroker engine cost is much higher in either option but you need to compare similar engines.
