I am placing a 460 with a TKO 600 and Quicktime bell housing. Does any one know if I need the spacer referred to in the manual Mcleod 8607 as I would with the Lakewood 15220 bell housing. I put the tranny and engine together and dropped it into my MKIV and am short of the trans mount about 3/4 of an inch ( the thickness of the Mcleod spacer). That seems like that will take care of the shortness but I question whether my input saft can be spaced back 3/4 inch and still mate with the pilot bearing and clutch plates( dual clutch). Any experience with this situation? Thanks Nick C

I have that spacer and have mated many a TKO to Quick Time. What part number do you have? What clutch do you have?

If everything is mated up properly you may only need the offset mount at the rear. Mike helped me with this on my FE. He will take good care of you.

I used the tko 600 with QuickTime bell hoisin with no issues. The bell came with a brass colored spacer between the block and tranny. That's all I used and it mated up to the trans crossmember fine. What motor mounts are you using? That's the only other thing I can think of that might change the spacing.
