Hi guys, building a drive train for my future Hot Rod purchase. Going to be a stroked 351w. I would like to run dual quads for the visual impact, I know it probably won't run as well as with a single carb. Thought about an Air-gap manifold and 450 holleys. Would also like to use a blower type scoop on the carbs. Will this fit under the hood or maybe just peek out of a hole in the hood? Also would like to run an engine mounted fuel pump if possible. What do you guys think?

Welcome Road Hog. I am running a BOSS 347 w/dual carbs on an air-gap manifold in the Hot Rod I am building. I have an oval air cleaner with 3" element and it will fit under the hood. I would think that you will have to cut the hood to clear the blower type hood scoop, just remember that the standard hood hinges at the front of the car. A block bounted mechanical fuel pump should work fine, that is what I am running on my roadster.
